Buying vs hiring for your event

Keep it forever or wear it once — how to decide between buying and hiring a dress for your celebration.

Words by Ziva Boutique

Some dresses you want to keep forever; others are perfect for one unforgettable night. We offer both buying and hiring, so the choice is yours.

When buying makes sense

If it's your own engagement, nikkah or a piece you'll reach for again — a traditional dress you'll wear to family weddings for years — buying is the way. It becomes part of your wardrobe and your celebrations, and made to order means it's cut just for you.

When hiring is the kinder choice

For a single henna night, a guest outfit or an event you won't repeat, hiring lets you wear something special without keeping it afterwards. The hire terms and care are all arranged directly with us by message.

Made to order, either way

Want a custom size, a different colour or a tweak to the embroidery? We make to order, whether you're buying or hiring. Tell us about your event and we'll talk you through what's possible.

How to start

Everything is arranged by message — there's no online checkout here. Reach us on WhatsApp or Instagram DM and we'll help you decide what's right for your day. Please note all sales are final: no refund or exchange, so ask us anything before you commit.

From the henna to the nikkah, the dress carries the day — chosen with the family, and remembered long after.

What the words look like in thread

Every idea in this journal is something you can wear — the mirror-work that catches the light, the embroidery worked by hand, the colour chosen for the family. The page is the story; the dress is the proof.
